The TC Motoring Guild Provenance List
This list is an ongoing project to record the locations and owners of all known TCs remaining in the world along with any pertinent history. The data has been painstakingly compiled over many years from several sources dating back to the 1950s. Because of the age and complexity of the source data there may be errors present, but we are doing our best to present the most accurate and up to date information possible.
When searching for a car or past owner, be aware that some data may be older or submitted incorrectly by outside contributors. Try searching more than one field, and for common misspellings.
Our thanks to:
- TC Motoring Guild’s Historians and Registrars since 1954, without whom much automotive history would be lost.
- Steve Simmons for over four years of seeking, sorting, verifying and entering data on 10,000 TCs, then creating this website.
- Bob Stein for creating and naming the original Provenance List with recent history on hundreds of TCs.
- The MG Car Club Ltd for providing surviving factory information, and Tom Wilson for being the liaison to make it happen.
- Mike Simmons for his database skills which allowed this searchable list to be available to the public.
- Several members of our sister clubs in Australia for sending information on their club cars.
