Owned in early 1960's by 1st Lt. Dick Grace at Kaneohe Marine Corp. Air Station, Hawaii (1964TCMG). Color at the time was black. Listed by engine number (XPAG 8002) but current records show 8002 still in the car, so this was undoubtedly TC 7255. Listing by Mr. Grace in 1964 IMGTCR directory stated "Purchased in April 1958. Previous owner was Peter Beck, an Englishman studing at Univ. of Calif. Spent considerable time removing modifications on car to return it to 100% original through-out - with one exception, a Thomkins kit was retained. Interioe was completely replaced with leather supplied by a firm in England that did the original work. The leather is 4 years old & still like new. Car has been shown 4 times in concours, taking a first and a second.
