About Us
TC 6811 was originally purchased by a doctor in England who drove it around Europe. Eventually it found its way to Long Beach, California and was purchased by long time TCMG members Doug & Ilene Wimer on July 31, 1956. They kept the car and remained TCMG members until their passing (Doug in 2006, Ilene in 2016). Charlie bought the car from the Wimers' family.

Originally purchased by a doctor in England. At some point it ended up in Long Beach, California and was bought from a "Japanese fellow" by long time TCMG members Doug & Ilene Wimer on July 31, 1956. It was completely stock, and color at the time was black. Doug kept it at his home in Rolling Hills, California for many years before moving to Heber City, Utah. Repainted red with tan interior. Doug was the register secretary for the International MG TC Register in the 1960's and the car still wears IMGTCR badge #1. The Wimers remained TCMG members until their passing, Doug 2006 and Ilene in 2016. Charlie Ockwell of Van Nuys, California purchased the car from the Wimer family sometime after.
